Do you have some questions?
Things we get asked a lot
If there’s something not answered below, please get in touch — we’re always happy to answers any questions you may have!
How do I get started with the NDIS?
If you’re new to the NDIS, the first step is finding out if you’re eligible. You’ll need to provide evidence of your disability and how it impacts your daily life.
Once accepted, you’ll have a planning meeting with the NDIA to talk about your needs and goals. That’s where we can come in. We can support you before and after your planning meeting by helping you understand your options, clarify what kind of supports might help, and explain how different services work.
If you’re already on the NDIS, we can help review your plan and identify which supports make sense for you. Starting can feel overwhelming, but you’re not alone — we’re happy to talk it through at your pace.
What sets your approach apart from other providers?
We don’t try to be everything to everyone. We focus on building strong, respectful relationships and providing support that actually works in day-to-day life.
You won’t find rigid processes, long delays or endless layers of management here. When you work with us, you speak to real people who know what they’re doing and care about getting it right.
Our background in disability support and nursing means we understand the little things that make a big difference — things like consistent staff, clear communication, and practical help that makes your day run smoother.
What qualifications or experience do you have?
Our team is led by Disability Support Workers and Nurses with years of hands-on experience in both healthcare and disability support.
We’ve worked across a range of settings — including community care, high-intensity support, SDA accommodation, and personal care — so we bring a broad skill set and deep understanding to the work. We also value ongoing learning and make sure everyone is up to date with current NDIS requirements, safety standards, and participant preferences.
Just as important as qualifications, though, is how we treat people — with dignity, respect, and attention to detail. We care about getting the little things right, and we take pride in doing our job properly.
Why should I choose you over another provider?
We understand that there are a lot of NDIS providers out there, and it can be hard to know who to trust. What sets us apart is how we work — with honesty, consistency, and a genuine commitment to the people we support.
We don’t just match you with someone and walk away. We stay in touch, we adjust when things change, and we take the time to really understand how you like things done.
Our support isn’t just about meeting the goals in your plan — it’s about making your life feel more settled, more manageable, and more yours. If you’re looking for reliable, down-to-earth support, we’re a solid place to start.
Can you work with complex care needs?
Yes — we have experience working with participants who require high-intensity support and complex care. Our team includes Nurses and support workers who are comfortable working in more involved settings, whether that’s around medication management, mobility equipment, behavioural support, or personal care.
We understand that complex care isn’t just about the clinical side — it’s about consistency, trust, and making sure each day feels a little more manageable. We take the time to understand each individual’s needs in detail and make sure the support we provide is safe, respectful and responsive.
What happens if my needs change?
We expect that things will change — and we’re ready for that. Whether your health shifts, your routines evolve, or you just decide you want to try a different kind of support, we’ll work with you to adjust your plan.
You won’t need to explain everything from scratch or jump through hoops to make a change. We stay in regular contact and check in often so you always feel supported and heard.
Our team is flexible and responsive, so if something’s not working anymore, we’ll help you find something that does.
Can I choose who supports me?
Absolutely. We know how important it is to feel comfortable with the people around you.
During your first chats with us, we’ll get a sense of your preferences — like the kind of personality that fits, cultural considerations, language needs, or whether you prefer male or female workers.
Wherever possible, we’ll match you with someone who fits what you’re looking for. And if something’s not quite right, we’ll make changes without any awkwardness.
You’re allowed to have preferences, and we’ll do our best to get the right match.
How do you make sure support is consistent?
Consistency is one of the biggest factors in building trust. We work hard to keep your support team stable and to avoid last-minute changes. That means planning ahead, being realistic about availability, and assigning support workers who are genuinely suited to the role.
We also keep detailed notes so that if someone new ever needs to step in, they know your routine and preferences. And importantly, we stay in touch — so if something isn’t quite right, we can fix it quickly before it becomes a problem.
What if I’ve had a bad experience with a previous provider?
You’re not alone — many people come to us after feeling let down by rushed support, poor communication, or services that just didn’t feel right.
We understand that trust doesn’t reset overnight. That’s why we take the time to listen, ask the right questions, and make sure you feel comfortable from the start.
You’ll never be pushed into a service that doesn’t suit you, and you won’t have to repeat yourself to five different people. We aim to build something steady, reliable and respectful, so your experience this time feels different — and better.
Do I need to be with you for all my supports?
Not at all. You can work with us for as much or as little as you like. Some people come to us just for personal care or cleaning support. Others might work with us across multiple services like SIL, respite, or therapy.
You’re always in control, and there’s no pressure to move everything across or bundle services unless it makes sense for you.
We’re happy to work alongside your existing providers too, and can help coordinate things smoothly if you’d prefer to keep a mix.
